Do sellers get to keep all the money they make at a sale?:
Absolutely! Sellers keep 100% of the profits they make from selling their wedding items.
Can I bring my wedding dress or bridesmaid’s dresses to sell?:
SURE! But just a heads up not everywhere we host wedding resales has an appropriate dressing room for an interested buyer to try on a dress... BUT you can always make a contact that day and arrange meeting times later. We advise having the sizes, any alterations/specifications ready to give them on a card that you can write down an appointment time- don’t let them walk away without getting their information as well!
What items should I bring?:
Centerpieces and small items sell the best, however, we have seen lots of these items too: Shoes, beverage dispensers or catering items, bridal shower items, bachelorette party items, signs, ceremony items (ring bearer pillows or flower girl baskets), jewelry, accessories, easels, frames, planning items (books, magazines, binders, etc). Bring anything and everything wedding related to fill your booth space-You might have more than you think!
Can I split a booth with a friend?:
Yes, but you will be sharing the same size space, and you are the one responsible to uphold the guidelines for the rental of your space. You can rent two booths side by side if you like for another $35- but if you only rent one booth there is only room for one table. Also, keep in mind there are no businesses or vendors allowed to rent booth space- your friend must be selling used wedding items as well.
Can I bring large items to sell?:
Yes! We have seen backdrops, ceiling drapes, benches, and even a homemade beer bar sell before. Keep in mind that you might need to offer delivery to their house if they don’t have a way to get it home- so price accordingly and plan ahead! Be sure to include a picture of this item in your preview post pictures so buyers might prepare ahead of time.
